Launched in 2006, Tutor.com Direct is a live, on demand tutoring service that offers families affordable, safe and customized tutoring packages for 4th – 12th grade students in all core academic subjects, and for those taking introductory college classes. Whether the student is struggling with a concept, studying for an exam or preparing a paper, a tutor is there the moment he or she needs help. Families choose a pay-as-you-go or monthly plan that fits their needs and their budget. Children have access to an expert tutor when they need it and for as long as they need it. There are no minimum or maximum time limits for sessions. Tutors are available during after-school and evening hours seven days a week from 2 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Live Homework Help™
Launched in 2000, Live Homework Help is an after-school, on demand homework service that connects students to expert tutors for a 20-minute homework session. Over 1,600 local public library sites offer this service to library card holders for free. Tutor.com has also worked closely with library associations and state governments to help deliver Live Homework Help to all students in Alaska, Alabama and Kansas who need after-school academic support. Tutors are available during after-school hours seven days a week. Hours vary by library.

Ask A Librarian™
Launched in 2005, Ask A Librarian™ from Tutor.com extends the high quality, personalized services traditionally offered only at the physical reference desk at public and private libraries to the growing number of library customers using the Web. Tutor.com's online reference solutions includes software and staffing services that enable library customers to get on demand help from professional librarians right from their own home. Statewide programs are offered in Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut and Ohio. Credentialed librarians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hours vary by library.

Professional Tutors in a Secure Environment
Tutor.com's network of over 1,300 tutors living in the U.S. and Canada includes certified teachers, college professors, undergraduates and graduate students from accredited universities and professionals. Each tutor completes a rigorous application process and submits teaching samples that demonstrate their content knowledge and teaching style. Every tutor must pass a thorough third party background check.

All of Tutor.com's services feature proprietary, secure Web environments where students and tutors chat using instant messaging, draw problems on an interactive whiteboard, share a file to review essays and papers and browse educational resources on the web together.
